Considering the 2011 adoption of the EU Framework for National Roma Integration Strategies up to 2020 as a positive turning point for an institutional addressing of the adverse living conditions (i.e., social and racial discrimination, housing, work, education, health, etc.) of the majority of Roma living in the EU Member States, the entries herein concern the period from 2011 to the present. This aims to the possibility of monitoring the results of the implementation of the above framework -as well as of the individual National Strategies falling under it- with regards to the improvement of the lives of the European Roma population and the mitigation of the problems it is facing by means of a systematic process of their social inclusion.
